Field Visit to National Institute of Oceanography for Batch 11

On the 22nd of March 2023, the third-year students of GCHCE embarked on a field visit to the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) located in Dona Paula, Goa, as part of their environmental studies excursion. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to the research and activities conducted at NIO, elucidating the institute's role in marine studies and environmental conservation efforts.
